Okay sooooo, … I forgot to post my video of Glen Eden’s opening day. Sorta silly to do that sort thing considering it’s my own site. However I have been trying to get shit done. Working with the Lost Boys trying to make this “little to no snow” situation produce tricks/shots. And Also planning out another season of BRO-SESH, this one being the fourth.
So now that I have my excuses for tardiness out of the way… enjoy the video and I’ll get to logging some bangers.
so I got on snow two nights in a row last week (day 4 and 5) and filmed with a couple different people. The first night was Jeffy, Serneels, and myself jibbing. McGee was there to help set up and bring the rail but didn’t film cause he had to bounce early. The next night was again with Jeffy, McGee this time swell as Jeffrey and Tyler of the infamous RATS crew. Their crew name as much as it may lead you to believe they are “rats” or informants, they are not. Think instead of the little animal who steals cheese. As a bonus Ryan of Fumio photo was there the first night snapping pictures. as an experiment we used all of my lights as well as his three strobes and it worked. the Generator would die a little every time the flashes went off but great to know it works. So now that you know who the players were, time to show you the moves that went down. We all had the camera for a little while, so I hope you enjoy the edit…
So I had my Third day on snow last week and it was yet another awesome jib sesh with friends. The first sesh was a great way to get warmed up by sliding PVC. My second you might wonder was the Horseshoe Valley “Movember rain” contest, and I didn’t feel like filming because I was ridding in the contest. So for the Third sesh we busted out my 15′ 3″ wide metal Warm up rail. It has served me well for many years now. Fumio was there taking photos, become a fan of him on Facebook (<–click)! The one above was my favorite; cause I really was trying to wrap my board around the rail by clearing half of it, speed is sooo fun! (I’m finally learning). The second was a Frontside nose press and my second Favorite photo, BOOM!
Anyways here is my super GANGST edit (as Markk Goodall put it) I hope you enjoy it! Special thanks to Brad and Clemmer for Filming a whole bunch during the sesh!
So I recently had the first day of my 2011/2012 snowboard season and it was excellent. This video was filmed using a Go-Pro and the card was corrupted or during the conversion process something happened. Final cut was having a brutal time dealing with the end result and I would have to export tests just to see how I was doing. I couldn’t scrub through the timeline it would be all jumpy and freeze operatically, what a complete nightmare. I’d have to say it was way more fun to make the footage than edit it all together. Enjoy!
Well I have the delight of being part of TMZ.com’s creative not once but twice for their Mustache (silly American’s spell it “Moustache”) contest. I’d say that makes me pretty famous being on there more than a fluke one timer. Anyways, little bit of personal fame with no connection to my work with Mustache Media.
I had the enjoyment of filming for this little beauty of an edit. Watch to see who is better at Street Fighter II for SNES. Will it be Evan Rissi of KING SNOW, or international super star and pro snowboarder Eero Ettala. I will tell you this much, it’s one hell of a battle! Enjoy…
This little illustration I did that makes me laugh. I recently purchased a Wacom tablet and let me to you this. I’m finally having fun drawing stuff on a computer!
SO it’s been about a year since I made Another Mustache Minute and I had made it to #27. So here it is, #28, filmed over the summer, starring the only person I’ve filmed skateboarding in HD. I’m not gonna lie, I still have a big warm spot for SD skate footage. I still wish I had my DVX to film in the summer. Anyways here you go…
So some of you might know I’m the tech rep for Nitro Snowboards in Ontario, if you didn’t know, now you know. So I have some awesome opportunities that come my way and I’d say this was by far one of the raddest. I got to follow around three of my favorite pro snowboarders while on their multi-day signing tour. This is the video of the SBC booth signing; that took place (at the recent Toronto Ski and Snowboard show.)
…on a side note I accomplished a life goal I had set. Meet Jon Kooley (all time favorite pro snowboarder, his “Love Hate” part being my snowboarding life blood of video parts.) ..and get him to autograph his first pro model board from Nitro (which I still own, and he later told me he doesn’t even have one). Check and check! really awesome dude, just like I had always imagined (DISCLAIMER: I am not a total fan-tard)
Anyways feast your eyes on this…
I love to snowboard, straight up! Sometimes I get out from behind the camera and snowboard in front of it. Here’s what I managed to scrape together, I hope you enjoy it!
