Another Mustache Minute #33 - Knuckles

ammpicture

So I have started the engine back up on Mustache Minutes, now that I am done with BRO-SESH for the season. I’m more than likely putting together a “best of everything” episode later on, so BRO-SESH will be back. Now back to the episode at hand…

So #33 is made up of a couple clips from the 2nd Annual Horseshoe Open. Specifically the big air portion of the two day contest sponsored by Coors Light Beer. Since it’s only a minute of time spent on the internet to watch it, I wont go into detail describing the episode. But let’s just say that I came the most close I have ever come, to being the knuckle of a jump. Enjoy!

BRO-SESH 4.5, late but worth the wait

bro_sesh45image

So hello, as I’m sure you’ve noticed, the episode for 4.5 was a little slow on coming out. I have a few excuses but I won’t waste the typing. I will say this though; I am going to make the most amazing bail edit from the footage I got at the 2nd annual Horseshoe Open. One including me, filming. Pure gold. Pureee Gold.
Now back to the the episode,… I had a couple of my close friends Alex BB and Ezra come hang out for the night, which was a real treat. If you’ve never heard of the Lost Boys here is there newest trailer Halfway to Hell. That’s Ezra gutting himself, than puking in the hospitable gown at 1:27. It was his first time on snow since he tore a quarter sized hole in is bowels. I love that it was at BRO-SESH 4.5! what a champion!
So with out further a due here is the video of BRO-SESH 4.5, (you’ll see quickly what kind of night mother nature dealt us)….

And the fourth…. BRO-SESH 4.4

bro-sesh-44-image2

So BRO-SESH 4.4’s special guest was Richie representing NOMIS and TECHNINE. We wanted to do something a little different so we choose BRO-says at BRO-SESH to play. It just so happened, a local BRO, brought a megaphone to the hill and that made the game a lot easier to play. So sit back and watch the game, for the record we tried to get everyone to do a between the feet boardslide; I cut the whole section because there was a great deal of confusion around the difference between a “Boardslide” and a “Lipslide”.
I’ll try to clear that up now,… a “Boardslide” (regardless of your body positioning being backside to the obstacle or Frontside to it) is always started with your front foot lifting over the obstacle. “Lipslide” on the other hand, (again regardless of your body positioning being backside to the obstacle or Frontside to it) is always started by your back foot lifting up and over the obstacle. Any questions?… Good, glad we could clear that up.
So the episode has the game of BRO-says at the start , but also has a bang’n donkey rail session at the end. So enjoy….

And one more down… BRO-SESH 4.3

bro-sesh-43-post-image

I had a couple other videos to edit this week for projects I will share some time in the near future. So I was a little behind on the third episode of BRO-SESH this season. However here it is, featuring some of the RIDE ontario team, Their team manager Tosh, and the big beard on campus, Stef Cott of Cott Agencies. We had an awesome night, everyone who came out showed the community whats up and threw down. Or BRO’d down with just as much gusto! As always Tony of Fumio Photo was there capturing the moments, in a single frame of goodness, found here BRO-SESH 4.3.

With out further delay here is the episode…

Round two… BRO-SESH 4.2

bro-sesh-42-post-image

So Last night was BRO-SESH 4.3 with Stef Cott from COTT Agencies, and I personally had an amazing time. But the point of this post isn’t how awesome last night was. It’s about  how awesome last night was, a week ago.

BRO-SESH 4.2 was one hell of a great time, a lot of wicked tricks went down and the BRO’s were stoked. MHG Agencies Came out Representing CAPITA, UNION, COAL, ASHBURY, HOLDEN and SANDBOX. This wasn’t the first time these boys have come to town and I hope not the last. A good chunk of their Team riders were also at Glen Eden holding it down. They literally DEVOUR’d the the Flat down rail aswell as the BRO-SESH classic, Battle Ship box.

Also adding to the greatness, Tony was there shooting photos. With out further explanation from me, here is the second episode of BRO-SESH season 4, BRO-SESH 4.2! Enjoy!

..it’s backkkk. BRO-SESH 4.1

bro-sesh-4.1

So it was a longer wait for BRO-SESH to start this season than the last three season’s. But the wait is over. BRO-SESH is back for a fourth season at Glen Eden. Not much has changed this year from last except we will be having special guests from the industry every Wednesday evening for the month of February (and into March if this weak winter will allow).
So the first BRO-SESH of the season on Wednesday February 1st enjoyed the company of Spellbound Sales who out representing ROME, 686 and OAKLEY.
We hung out had a great session on the Flat-up-flat box. Until there was an injury requiring Ski Patrol. At that point we moved onto the barrel bonk to session and hand out some prizes and stuff from ROME, 686 and OAKLEY. Thanks to everyone who came out! And to those who didn’t, I hope to see you on a future evening. Photos of the night can be found here www.fumiophoto.com.

Oops I forgot to post the GE opener!

Dan Bubalo - Tail 270

Dan Bubalo - Tail 270

Okay sooooo, … I forgot to post my video of Glen Eden’s opening day. Sorta silly to do that sort thing considering it’s my own site. However I have been trying to get shit done. Working with the Lost Boys trying to make this “little to no snow” situation produce tricks/shots. And Also planning out another season of BRO-SESH, this one being the fourth.
So now that I have my excuses for tardiness out of the way… enjoy the video and I’ll get to logging some bangers.

Dream’n Gangster shit…

preseasonfs-blunt-1112

so I got on snow two nights in a row last week (day 4 and 5) and filmed with a couple different people. The first night was Jeffy, Serneels, and myself jibbing. McGee was there to help set up and bring the rail but didn’t film  cause he had to bounce early. The next night was again with Jeffy, McGee this time swell as Jeffrey and Tyler of the infamous RATS crew. Their crew  name as much as it may lead you to believe they are “rats” or informants, they are not. Think instead of the little animal who steals cheese. As a bonus Ryan of Fumio photo was there the first night snapping pictures. as an experiment we used all of my lights as well as his three strobes and it worked. the Generator would die a little every time the flashes went off but great to know it works. So now that you know who the players were, time to show you the moves that went down. We all had the camera for a little while, so I hope you enjoy the edit…

Gotta get that Snow Job…

img9105-xl1

So I had my Third day on snow last week and it was yet another awesome jib sesh with friends. The first sesh was a great way to get warmed up by sliding PVC. My second you might wonder was the Horseshoe Valley “Movember rain” contest, and I didn’t feel like filming because I was ridding in the contest. So for the Third sesh we busted out my 15′ 3″ wide metal Warm up rail. It has served me well for many years now. Fumio was there taking photos, become a fan of him on Facebook (<–click)! The one above was my favorite; cause I really was trying to wrap my board around the rail by clearing half of it, speed is sooo fun! (I’m finally learning). The second was a Frontside nose press and my second Favorite photo, BOOM!

Anyways here is my super GANGST edit (as Markk Goodall put it) I hope you enjoy it! Special thanks to Brad and Clemmer for Filming a whole bunch during the sesh!

First day of the new season…

post-filler-imageamm29

So I recently had the first day of my 2011/2012 snowboard season and it was excellent. This video was filmed using a Go-Pro and the card was corrupted or during the conversion process something happened.  Final cut was having a brutal time dealing with the end result and I would have to export tests just to see how I was doing. I couldn’t scrub through the timeline it would be all jumpy and freeze operatically, what a complete nightmare. I’d have to say it was way more fun to make the footage than edit it all together. Enjoy!
